Cor

Worthy Brothers in Christ,
The EFF/Cor message for October centers on the need for men to pray.
Our main mission as Knights is to Proclaim His Name in everything that we do and be His witness to the world. Our primary responsibility as men is to lead our families to heaven.
We must bring Christ to the center of our lives and the way to accomplish that is through Prayer. Every Knight should strive to build a personal relationship with Christ and develop a solid prayer life.
The link below is to a video from Into The Breach. The entire video is 13 minutes long and is worth viewing but there is an introduction at the beginning of the video that is only 2 minutes long. The introduction will provide you a good overview of the message.

There are many ways to approach and develop a personal prayer Life. To help us grow in prayer as individuals and as a brotherhood we have adopted the 7 Habits of a Catholic Gentlemen from Bishop Olmsted in his Apostolic Exhortation “Into the Breach”.

The 7 Habits of a Catholic Gentlemen

Daily Activities

1. Pray every day (Pray before every meal)
2. Examine conscience before going to sleep
3. Go to Mass
4. Read the Bible
5. Keep the Sabbath

Monthly Activities

6. Go to Confession
7. Build fraternity with other Catholic Men

As brothers we need to help each other to grow in prayer and follow the guidance from Bishop Olmsted. The best way for us to build fraternity as Knights is to fully participate in our Cor initiative.

Let us always bring prayer into everything that we do and strive to do “His Will”.

Vivat Jesus,
