"I'd like to begin by thanking Father Jim Bartoloma and our Worthy District Deputy Jim Francesconi for making this Mass and installation possible. And to my brothers, family, and friends, thank you all for being here tonight. Especially my amazing wife (Karen/my rock), your presence truly means so much.

It is a great honor to serve as the Grand Knight of Sancta Familia. I am humbled, especially when I look at the many past Grand Knights in this room. Their guidance and wisdom have been a true source of reassurance for me.

Now, this past year has been humbling in many ways, especially with the recent passing of my father, Vincent Degliomini. During that difficult time, my brothers—many of whom are here tonight—provided my family with incredible support, love, and prayers. My family, and especially my mother, Marie, appreciated it immensely. In many ways, my mom is the reason I am the Catholic man I am today. She instilled in me many of the virtues that guide me as a Grand Knight, like compassion and listening to others intently. She is so proud of me for becoming a Knight and especially for this role, and I truly hope she'll be able to meet all of you when she visits in October.

Being a Grand Knight is not always easy. Like any family, we have our disagreements. But with our faith as our guiding light and our core principles of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity as our focus, we always come together as one. We come together to serve our parish and our community. Whether it's serving the poor, our veterans, or the sick, we, as Knights, always answer the call.

Finally, I want to congratulate my fellow officers and their families. I'm truly excited to work alongside them and look forward to their support in the upcoming year.

My challenge to all our worthy Brothers is to live your faith...and honor your Charity of choice, unite as one, and be active in our fraternal council..."

Thank You All

God Bless

WGK Tony D.
