Bishop Dennis Sullivan, along with current pastors Fr. James Bartoloma and Fr. Pham and former pastors (Fr. Hughes, Fr. Picinic) along with Deacon Jerry , and Deacon Dean, came together to celebrate a special Mass commemorating the parish's 50th anniversary. The significant event included the consecration of the church's newly installed tabernacle, symbolizing the enduring faith and commitment of the parish community.

During his sermon, Bishop Sullivan referenced Pope Francis' words on the parish's significance as outlined in the Holy Father's apostolic exhortation Evangelii Gaudium. He emphasized that "The parish is not an antiquated institution; due to its great adaptability, it can take on diverse forms based on the pastor and community's openness and missionary spirit... It is a community of communities, a sanctuary where the thirsty seek solace on their journey, and a hub for continuous missionary endeavors."

“We celebrate the parish…who you have been for 50 years and who you will be going forward,” said Bishop Sullivan closing his homily. “May those who come after in the years ahead continue to build up this parish.”

Later in the day, the parish organized a grand event to commemorate the 50th anniversary.

Thank You to all helped make this Blessed event take place and those who attended!
