Thank you to all those who came out to support our Vets!

On Sunday 11/10/24 (Washington Lake Park, Sewell, NJ), our Knights of Columbus Council 11498, 4th Degree Color Corp, and the TriState Veterans Memorial Fund Officers came together in a heartwarming display of unity and respect to pay tribute to our brave Veterans. This special ceremonial event was not just a mere gathering, but a poignant moment of recognition for those who have served our country selflessly. The focus of this tribute was particularly on veterans who have faced the challenges of PTSD, shedding light on the often unseen struggles that they endure.
The event was a testament to the unwavering commitment of these organizations to honor and support our Veterans, especially those who bear the invisible scars of war. Through this ceremony, a message of gratitude and solidarity was conveyed, emphasizing the importance of acknowledging the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women. It was a poignant reminder of the resilience and courage exhibited by our Veterans, both on and off the battlefield.
As the colors were presented and the tributes were paid, the solemn atmosphere was filled with a sense of reverence and appreciation. Each gesture, each word spoken, carried with it a profound sense of gratitude and remembrance for those who have dedicated their lives to protecting our freedoms. The presence of the Knights of Columbus Council 11498, the 4th Degree Color Corp, and the TriState Veterans Memorial Fund added a touch of honor and dignity to the occasion, underscoring the significance of the event.
In coming together to honor our Veterans, especially those grappling with PTSD, these organizations not only showcased their unwavering support but also highlighted the importance of raising awareness about mental health issues among veterans. This ceremonial tribute served as a powerful reminder of the need to provide care and assistance to those who have sacrificed so much for our nation. It was a moment of reflection, gratitude, and solidarity, uniting all present in a shared commitment to never forget the service and sacrifices of our Veterans.

Frank Alexander during ceremony stated, "Veterans carry with them stories of resilience, courage, and sacrifice. But, for many, the battles didn’t end when they left the front lines; they carried home experiences that don’t easily fade. PTSD impacts not only our veterans but also their families, communities, and future generations. It’s why we’re here today: to recognize their journeys and to ensure they are supported, understood, and valued in the highest sense".
